We are seeking to appoint a part time Section Manager for ESOL who would be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering courses within the ESOL Section. You will develop provision, teach on a range of courses and line manage a team of teaching staff. You will be primarily responsible for the School’s Young Learner Full-time ESOL, Functional Maths, additional qualifications and Enrichment activities.
A relevant degree/professional qualification is essential, together with an English Language Teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, Dip TESOL, MA ELT) and a full Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (PGCE, DET or equivalent). You should also have 3 years’ experience in delivering ESOL courses, some curriculum co-ordination experience and have good leadership skills, with some experience of supervising a team in Further Education or a similar setting.
