We are seeking a proactive and approachable Facilities Officer (Student Engagement and Security) to join our Estates and Facilities team during the academic term weeks.
In this highly visible, front-line role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive experience of our students, staff, and visitors. Your presence on campus will foster a sense of community while maintaining a secure and well-maintained environment.
Key responsibilities include patrolling campus buildings and grounds to ensure safety, security, and compliance with university policies and engage confidently with students to encourage positive behaviour and address conduct concerns sensitively. You will respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, providing accurate and detailed reports and will assist with fire safety, evacuations, and first aid as required.
You’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to enhancing the student experience. We offer development opportunities, training, and the chance to make a real difference in the university community.
