Director of IT Architecture
As a Director of IT Architecture, you'll collaborate with researchers, academics and technology teams across the university to design, implement and maintain robust technical architecture that enables ground-breaking discoveries. You'll be part of a dynamic leadership team within our Digital, Data and Technology Group, working at the forefront of enterprise architecture to support everything from high-performance computing to advanced data analytics platforms, enterprise applications, cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

You’ll hold a degree in a technical field with Chartered status or equivalent experience, and professional project management qualifications like PRINCE2. Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership in complex technical projects, and mentoring skills are key. Knowledge of agile, enterprise architecture, and cloud/data/high-performance computing is highly valued, along with a curious, analytical mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
The role title' Director of IT Architecture' is for advertising purposes only. If successful, your role title will be Director IT Engineering (Dir ITE)
