About this role
The UWE College of Business and Law seeks to appoint a College Dean for Research and Knowledge Exchange to shape a future-facing research agenda that is supported by a growing research culture and environment. The College saw inspiring improvements in REF2021 for both Bristol Business School and Bristol Law School. Both improved their overall scores at 4* and 3* and now Bristol Law School is ranked among the top 30 universities for Law research, and the Business School leads the Alliance Group of Institutions in external income generation, and ranks 19th in the UK for research funding (CABS, 2025).
As a key member of the College Executive Team, the College Dean for Research and Knowledge Exchange will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and turning vision into impactful outcomes that transform lives.
