About The Role
Contract: Fixed term - maternity cover
This is an excellent opportunity to join Swansea University and use your experience to lead its Marketing Intelligence Service within the Marketing, Recruitment & International (MRI) directorate.
This pivotal role, covering a period of maternity leave, will lead a high-performing analytical team, delivering market intelligence, research, and insight to inform strategic and operational decision-making across the University, in areas of marketing, recruitment and internationalisation activity. You will play a key role in shaping the University’s academic portfolio, ensuring a market-led approach and enabling evidence-based marketing and student recruitment activity.
As Head of Marketing Intelligence, you will, lead the development and implementation of marketing intelligence plans, provide analysis and reporting on the global HE market., and measure and optimise the impact of marketing and recruitment campaigns. You will collaborate with external bodies such as UCAS and JISC to enhance insight capabilities, empowering colleagues across MRI to make data-driven decisions, and work closely with Faculties and other Professional Services to provide meaningful insight.
We are looking for someone with significant experience in data analysis and insight, alongside excellent communication and leadership skills. A degree or relevant professional qualification are essential, and experience in the HE sector is desirable.
