As a key member of the Education and Student Experience Team you will support the work of the Placements Team within the School of Allied Health Professions, Nursing & Midwifery You will play a key role in coordinating and organising the placement activity for specific course areas ensuring placement provision is carried out efficiently whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will also work with the wider team to support other lifecycle activities and will support quality and compliance across the programmes and be required to deputise for the placement team leader.
We are looking to appoint a supportive, organised and motivated individual who is committed to driving improvements within our programmes. The successful candidate will have experience of maintaining information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and will have previously supported student or programme related processes. They will also be able to build effective relationships with staff and students.
You will have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to act with discretion and diplomacy to deal with confidential queries/material. Excellent team working skills are required, the ability to analyse and solve problems, prioritise and organise your own workload and work autonomously. You will require excellent IT and communication skills, be flexible, and have the ability to undertake to plan and progress work activities working with numerous partner organisations across the country. This will be a busy role liaising with learners, employer partners, placement providers, and academic and clinical colleagues every day.
