LOCATION: Remote; with option to access London (Wembley) headquarters or campuses in Brussels, Miami, Sydney, Toronto where appropriate.

As a key part of our growth plan, we are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Global Head of Marketing & Media to lead all aspects of our marketing and content strategy and execution.

Joining an award-winning team, the successful candidate will oversee the full marketing and media mix – including brand, content production, digital and social media, website, advertising, communications, and marketing partnership activation – to drive student recruitment and enhance GIS’ global profile.

You will direct a high-performing marketing team and deliver innovative, data-driven campaigns that strengthen GIS’ position and expansion in our key markets around the world.

ABOUT YOU:

  • A positive, proactive leader with the vision and creativity to deliver outstanding global marketing campaigns.
  • Significant experience as a senior marketer – ideally in sport, higher education or related industries – with a strong track record of delivering global growth and measurable impact against targets.
  • Ability to lead a team that produces compelling content across digital, social, video, and print.
  • Data driven and skilled in managing campaigns, budgets, teams, and agencies to deliver against objectives.
  • Excellent relationship builder, able to influence and collaborate at senior levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the global marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and student recruitment to all of GIS’ stadium campuses (Brussels, London, Miami, Sydney, Toronto etc) and online degrees.
  2. Oversee and develop the GIS brand - including all content production and management - digital, video, social, website, publications, and advertising assets.
  3. Manage GIS’ online presence, ensuring the website, social media, and communications reflect the brand and deliver strong engagement.
  4. Deliver paid and organic marketing campaigns across the world – in particular key global markets such as Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
  5. Provide leadership for a talented marketing team, ensuring professional growth, high performance, and cross-functional collaboration.
  6. Using tech tools including our CRM and analytics platforms, analyse marketing performance, optimise campaigns, and manage budgets effectively to achieve business and student recruitment objectives.
  7. Build and manage relationships with agencies, suppliers, and global sports and university partners to deliver campaigns and joint initiatives.
  8. Contribute as an active member of the GIS senior management team, shaping organisational direction and growth.
