We are excited to invite applications for the role of Learning Support Specialist – Digital Print (Fixed Term) within the Digital, Printing and Fashion Learning Support Team at Leeds School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically skilled and creatively driven individual to support our vibrant community of students and staff working across disciplines that demand excellence in digital print production and design.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Specialist – Digital Print, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality technical support across the full digital print workflow. You will support students and staff in the design, preparation, and production of digital artwork and printed media, enabling them to produce exhibition-standard outcomes and engage in experimental, innovative practices.
Working with service users from across the school of arts, including under-graduates, post-graduates, researchers, academics, and visiting lecturers, you will be required to maintain access to facilities in an organised and supportive manner.
You will provide hands-on technical expertise in a wide range of digital printing techniques and technologies, including:
Canon inkjet and OKI laser printers and plotters
Vinyl cutting and application processes
Photozine, magazine production, and book binding

Essential Skills and Experience
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
This is an ideal role for someone who is technically proficient, creatively engaged, and committed to delivering high-quality learning support within a specialist art and design context.
