Summary of the role
The St Luke’s Sports Centre is an integral part of sport at the University of Exeter, with our swim school being a key element of our delivery at St Lukes.
We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic person to join our team to plan lessons and teach on our successful swimming lesson programme at the St Luke’s Sports Centre Swimming Pool. The programme currently delivers lessons 7 days per week on a 50 week programme to children and adults from the local community. The Centre offers both Swim England and RLSS Rookie Lifeguard programmes to a wide range of users.
The role is available up to 18.5 hours per week, however applications from individuals looking for shorter working patterns are welcomed. The successful applicants should hold a minimum of Swim England Level 2 swim teachers award or equivalent. You will also need to excellent customer service skills and experience of using Leisure Management Software would be an advantage.
