Background
We are inviting applications for a researcher’s position in our group. Our group carries out activities related to quantum physics and quantum technology. Our quantum enabled radar project consists of the installation of at least three radar nodes connected via fibres and free space link for distributed sensing. The fibres/free space link connecting the nodes require phase stabilisation at optical frequencies. We are aiming to achieve stability better than 1 part in 1018. We are seeking a highly motivated experimental researcher who will be responsible for continuing the development of the experimental platform, as well as benchmarking new techniques, and assisting in planning and implementing initial experiments on fibre stabilisation.
