We are recruiting an epidemiologist to join an exciting research programme on infections and brain health funded by the Wellcome Trust. The post-holder must have a relevant first degree in the field of medicine or public health and expected to have experience of managing and analysing data from electronic health records for epidemiological studies on topics such as infections and mental health. The post requires strong quantitative skills with expertise in a common statistical package such as Stata or R. A commitment to multi-disciplinary and collaborative working is also essential. The ideal candidate would also have direct experience of using the Clinical Practice Research Datalink. Further particulars are included in the job description.
The post is full-time, 1 FTE and fixed-term for 12 months. The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is available immediately.
The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 5 £39,984 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.
