Job description:
We are seeking a Research Assistant to join a new industry-collaborative project led by Dr. Ilida Ortega and Professor Nicolas Martin, focused on introducing sustainable practices into digital dentistry.
The project will explore plant-based, recyclable 3D-printing filaments as an alternative to conventional dental resins, assessing their performance in accuracy, surface quality and durability.
You will gain hands-on experience in sustainable materials evaluation and additive manufacturing workflows, dental digital design and fabrication techniques
as well as research translation with industrial partners.
We welcome applicants from materials science, dentistry, biomedical engineering or manufacturing backgrounds, who are eager to contribute to sustainability in healthcare.
