Job overview

Regent College London is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Exam Administrator to join our Exams Department. This role provides essential support to the Exam Manager, focusing on the handling and administration of exam materials, providing on-site support for in-person exams, and assisting with e-proctored exams. The successful candidate will ensure a smooth and efficient exam experience for both students and staff. 

Key responsibilities

  • Handling of exam materials: Scan, process, and organise exam papers and materials accurately, following exam protocols and ensuring the secure handling of all documents.
  • In-person exam support: Provide on-side assistance on exam days, overseeing the set-up, managing exam materials, and addressing any issues that arise to minimise disruptions and ensure that exams are running smoothly.
  • Administrative support: Maintain essential records, help with the coordination of exam schedules, and assist the Exam Manager with general administrative tasks to ensure efficient exam operations.
  • Support with e-proctored exams: Work with the Exam Manager to set-up and coordinate e-proctored exams, assist students with the e-proctoring process, including troubleshooting and responding to process queries, and provide real-time support on the exam day. 

Required skills and experience

  • Administrative experience: Prior experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational or exam-focused setting.
  • Technical proficiency: Comfortable with technology and able to quickly acquire new skills.
  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and compliance in handling and processing exam papers and materials.
  • Excellent spoken English and communication skills: Able to communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Organisational skills: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, priorities tasks, and contribute to a smooth and efficient exam process.
  • Flexibility: Required to work evenings and weekends depending on the exam schedule. Willingness and ability to travel to Regent College London’s multiple campuses, including Central London, Wembley, Kingsbury, and Southall, are essential.
