UCC wishes to appoint an academic General Practitioner to the role of Lecturer in General Practice (0.5FTE). Reporting to the Head of Department the successful candidates will be expected to contribute to and lead undergraduate general practice curriculum design, delivery, and assessment, support the clinical placement of medical students, undertake clinical research and research supervision, apply for research grant funding in line with UCC research priorities, and undertake academic duties within the Department, School and College.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Above the Bar) Salary Scale (pro rata): €79,185 - €102,549 (Scale B) / €75,338 - €97,420 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
