We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at University of Southampton for a two-year position in the area of Personalised Healthcare Digital Twins.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the fast-growing field of Artificial Medical Intelligence. The successful candidate will design and develop advanced AI/ML methods to integrate multimodal health data, supporting personalised predictions and decision-making in healthcare. You will work under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Dr Rahman Attar, and collaborate with leading clinical partners at University Hospital Southampton, including Dr Sofia Michopoulou (Consultant Clinical Scientist) and Professor Chris Kipps (Consultant Neurologist), to ensure the research delivers both technical innovation and real-world clinical impact. You will be encouraged to present your work at international conferences, publish in leading journals, and engage with both academic and clinical communities. This role is ideally suited to an ambitious researcher eager to make a distinctive contribution at the interface of AI and healthcare.

*Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
