Conversion
The post-holder will lead the execution of a robust UKSR and Outreach conversion and fulfilment strategy. The successful candidate will manage digital engagement platforms such as Unibuddy, Unifrog, and Bonjoro, while also leading on CRM data management and contributing to marketing automation projects. They will support regulatory compliance through accurate HEAT data management and alignment with the Access and Participation Plan (APP), while also acting as the data lead for Gecko. Strong collaboration with the marketing team and effective line management of team members are essential, with a focus on nurturing a high-performing, integrated, and data-informed team.

The role encompasses the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of University Open Days and Applicant Interview Days, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for prospective students and their guests. This includes comprehensive oversight of event logistics and close collaboration with academic and professional services teams. The role also involves, in coordination with the UK Student Recruitment (UKSR) and Outreach Manager, the planning and execution of UKSR flagship events, ensuring these initiatives align with the University’s strategic recruitment goals and effectively promote its offerings.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Southampton Solent University in this senior role, leading the development and delivery of our UK Student Recruitment (UKSR) and Outreach conversion and fulfilment strategy. You will take ownership of digital engagement platforms such as Unibuddy, Unifrog and Bonjoro, oversee CRM data management, and contribute to marketing automation projects. Acting as the data lead for Gecko and ensuring accurate HEAT data management, you will also support regulatory compliance and alignment with the University’s Access and Participation Plan (APP).
This role will also see you lead the strategic planning and delivery of our flagship recruitment events, including Open Days and Applicant Interview Days. Working closely with academic and professional services teams, you will ensure a seamless and engaging experience for prospective students and their guests. With strong collaboration across teams and effective line management, you will nurture a high-performing, data-informed team that delivers outstanding results and plays a key role in achieving Solent’s strategic recruitment goals.
