Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to be part of a dynamic team at the heart of engineering education? We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join Multidisciplinary Engineering Education (MEE) within the Faculty of Engineering.
This varied role will put you at the centre of a busy and collaborative environment, often acting as a first point of contact for staff, students and visitors. You’ll support a range of administrative functions, from coordinating processes that underpin hands-on teaching, to arranging travel, making purchases, and providing day-to-day support for colleagues.
Working closely with administrative, technical and academic staff, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department and helping us deliver an excellent experience for our students. You’ll also contribute to exciting student activities beyond the curriculum, supporting opportunities that enhance their learning and development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build your skills as part of a supportive professional services team while contributing to innovative, practical engineering education.

We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University. The expectation is that the post holder will be on campus for 60% of their working week, one of these days will be a Friday to cover a student reception.
