The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced early childhood educator with expertise in policy, governance, and pedagogical leadership to make a significant contribution to the Faculty of Education’s strategic focus on advancing quality and equity in early learning education.

In this role, you will translate complex regulatory frameworks into innovative teaching and research practices, strengthening the Faculty’s leadership in shaping national discourse on early childhood education. Working collaboratively within a dynamic academic team, you will foster a culture of excellence through mentoring, teamwork, and engagement across the sector.

You will play a pivotal role in preparing future early childhood educators to navigate and influence policy environments with confidence, integrity, and a commitment to equitable outcomes for all children.

As the successful candidate, you will hold a doctoral qualification in early childhood education and bring extensive experience across education and service sectors. With strong interpersonal skills, you will work collaboratively and independently to advance teaching and research excellence. You will have a strong research track record, including publications, research leadership, external funding, and postgraduate supervision, alongside proven teaching excellence in early childhood education, policy, and compliance.
