The Department of Computer Science and Technology is an academic department within the University of Cambridge that encompasses Computer Science, along with many aspects of Engineering, Technology and Mathematics. We aim to be excellent in the research we do and actively promote collaboration to maintain the breath of our research. We are looking for an Administrator to work in a small, friendly, but busy team supporting the Central Administration and Reception Team of three members of staff.
The role holder will play a key role in supporting a range of functions within the Department. Based in our central administration office, you will undertake tasks such as conference and event organisation, coordinating the new starter and visitor process, office allocation, arranging travel and play a key role in the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the team The Administrator will also provide support to the Executive Assistant to the Head of Department as required.
You will join us with proven experience of working in an administrative environment, ideally educated to A-level or with holding a level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent level of practical experience. You will be able to demonstrate your excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
