About the Role
This new role comes at a critical moment in Nottingham Trent University’s journey, with the commencement of our new Vice-Chancellor and the impending evolution of our University Strategy. In this position, you will work closely with our executive team to define the University’s fundraising and alumni priorities and approach for the future. This will involve close consultations with the most senior leaders across the University and the subsequent development of pragmatic and effective strategies to fundraise and engage and leverage our 250,000+ alumni around the world.
As a seasoned fundraising professional, you know what world-class fundraising and alumni relations practices look like and are comfortable training and embedding these across a team. Experienced at fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, you are a team player who is adept at leading in a complex organisation.
With your track record for securing major gifts, you have led the implementation of end-to-end plans for philanthropy, delivering impactful results to the organisation. In refreshing our approach to alumni relations, you will create innovative and sustainable methods of engagement with our global alumni to build genuine two-way relationships that both strengthen the University’s brand and our fundraising outcomes.
This post is initially being recruited to for a 12-month period but there may be potential for employment beyond this timeframe.

Our award-winning Department of Communications, Alumni Relations, Marketing and Student Recruitment (CAMS) is responsible for engaging with key audiences including prospective students to support NTU’s student recruitment targets and driving forward NTU’s reputation and brand.
