English National Ballet School, affiliated school with English National Ballet, is a specialist training centre for aspiring and highly talented young ballet dancers aged 16 to 19. We transform talented young dancers into world-class performers over a three-year programme validated by Trinity College, London.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking to recruit an Academic Administrator to support our enrolment and curriculum team.

Our Academic Administrator will proactively support administration relating to the student academic experience including admissions, induction, enrolment, attendance, retention, and assessment activities; providing excellent customer service to students and other internal and external stakeholders; ensuring programmes are administered in line with the School’s and associated course provider’s academic regulations and policies. They will provide support for formal School committee meetings and work with the Registrar on student record management using the School’s management information system.

Applicants for the role should have the below skills and experience:

  • Proven working experience in an office environment.
  • Be an effective team player with the skills to work with Senior Management and artistic staff within the School, students, parents and members of the public.
  • Experience of dealing with confidential issues with tact and discretion.
  • Previous experience of working with administrative systems and databases.
  • The ability and willingness to solve problems alone or as part of a team.
  • Be able to produce detailed work to a consistently high standard, working well under pressure, prioritise workflow independently and show initiative.
  • The ability to work in a changing environment and respond flexibly to changing needs and demands.
