The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is a leading global organisation that provides health, safety, and environmental qualifications.
NEBOSH’s Ethical Practice team plays a critical role in protecting the integrity of our qualifications and assessments by carrying out activities to detect and deter malpractice.
We are currently looking for an Ethical Practice Specialist to join our investigatory team and help us protect the integrity of NEBOSH’s qualifications by detecting, investigating, and deterring malpractice.
The role:
The Ethical Practice Specialist (Arabic speaking) is responsible for carrying out ethical practice investigations and tasks accurately, consistently, and in accordance with NEBOSH’s policies and standards, with a focus on investigations and tasks relating to Arabic language assessments, in addition to English language. The role holder is also responsible for making robust, evidence-based recommendations about sanctions when evidence of malpractice is found. The Ethical Practice Specialist (Arabic speaking) will deliver and support NEBOSH’s programme of activities to detect and deter malpractice.
The role-holder will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of investigations, across NEBOSH’s qualification assessments, in a busy area of work. The role requires excellent writing and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and an enquiring mind. A collaborative and supportive approach to team working is essential: but the role-holder must also be self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously and owning investigation tasks.
The role holder will specialise in investigations and tasks relating to NEBOSH’s Arabic-language assessments. However, it is critical that they also have the skills required to carry out their duties on NEBOSH’s entire portfolio of assessments.
