The Deputy Director of Finance plays a pivotal role in the strategic and operational management of the University’s financial services and ensuring financial resilience and sustainability. Working closely and reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a fundamental and integral part in delivering the financial strategy, including annual planning and resourcing as part of the University’s overarching strategy, Vision 2030.
We are looking for an experienced leader with the vision and credibility to drive forward developments as a key part of a forward-thinking finance team. You will be a qualified Accountant with substantial post-qualification experience and a strategic and engaging financial leader with a track record of having established strong and supportive relationships with key business stakeholders, with the ability to challenge constructively. You will be a transformative influence, promoting greater commercial awareness throughout the institution, with a strong commitment and appetite for continuous improvement, enhancements in technology and delivering best value from investment.
You will provide leadership across financial operations, including financial planning, reporting and treasury services, while acting as a key advisor to senior leadership on financial strategy and risk management.
