An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join the Centre for Health and Clinical Research on a part-time, fixed term contract. This role will involve conducting a scoping review exploring how reasonable adjustments are used to support people with learning disabilities in outpatient settings.
About you
You will be a registered healthcare professional who has completed a Masters level qualification and who is looking for an opportunity to further develop your research skills. You will have experience working with and/or supporting people with learning disabilities and be committed to fair and inclusive participation in research.
You will have excellent communication skills and will take responsibility for your day-to-day research activities while ensuring that your work supports the project team. You will organise and facilitate Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) events in person and online, to support the development of your scoping review strategy and analysis of the findings. You will contribute to the preparation of the project’s outputs as written manuscripts and presentations.
Where is this role based?
This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre. Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) events will be hosted at Bristol Royal Infirmary; these events can be arranged flexibly but must be attended in person.

This is a fixed term post for 18 months and is part-time, working on a 0.3 FTE contract.
