This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher/lecturer in acting to play a key role delivering the BA Acting and Performance course at Wimbledon College of Arts, part of University of the Arts London.
As a Lecturer and Industry Lead for the BA Acting and Performance, you’ll enable students to become creative, confident and articulate storytellers, and develop their physical, vocal and intellectual skills.
You’ll be responsible for teaching and supporting the progression of acting students as they transition from trainee to industry professional. You’ll engage with industry professionals and maintain relationships with agents, casting directors and other industry professionals in order to support student progress.
You’ll also provide support with curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on the BA Acting and Performance course, working collaboratively within a course team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.
Your profile
Experience of teaching acting at all levels, particularly as part of a professional vocational training programme, is essential.
