The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne (HEC Lausanne) invites applications for a full-time position as 

Full, Associate or Assistant Professor (Tenure track) in Accounting and Control Information

Start date: August 1st, 2026 or on a mutually agreed date.

Activity rate: 100%

Workplace: Anthropôle, Lausanne

PAS and PO 6 years renewable

Assistant Professors on tenure track are hired for a two-year term, renewable twice on the recommendation of the Dean's Office (the maximal length of the tenure track period is therefore 6 years). An evaluation procedure is initiated at the earliest after 2.5 years (fast track) and at the latest after 4.5 years. If the evaluation turns out to be positive, the Faculty proposes to the Direction of UNIL that the candidate be tenured to the rank of Associate Professor.

 Your qualifications

Candidates must hold a PhD in Accounting, or a related managerial discipline. They should have a promising research and publication record in the field of Accounting or Control. Research areas include financial accounting, auditing, management accounting, accounting and information systems, artificial intelligence in accounting and control, risk management, environmental and sustainability accounting, internal controls, compliance and capital markets. Applicants should have the capacity to contribute to the development of HEC Lausanne’s Accounting and Control research and teaching activities. Teaching experience at university level (Bachelor and Master) will be valued. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to teach in French and English after six years.

The new professor will be a member of the Departement of Accounting and Control.
