The opportunity:
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with proven communication and leadership skills, with experience engaging with a range of partners and stakeholders, including policymakers and the public, who can apply their skills to a large data linkage research and infrastructure programme which aims to provide data-driven evidence and insights for policy and public good.
The post-holder will work for ADR Scotland programme which is funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) in the University of Edinburgh-led part of the programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible fordeveloping and managing the delivery of ADR Scotland knowledge exchange, impact, public engagement and communications strategy and approach. Working closely with Scottish Government, you will engage with a range of groups from across disciplines and sectors, to drive impact, awareness and trust in administrative data research. The post-holder will also deputise for the Programme Lead and will represent ADR Scotland within the University and to other partners and agencies. The team is multi-disciplinary, including colleagues from the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Napier as well as Scottish Government departments and other delivery partners including Research Data Scotland.
The post is a fixed term maternity cover until mid-January 2027. Applications for secondments are welcome.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £50,253 to £61,759 per annum.
