Assistant Professor in Medical History of Asia-Pacific
SoH invites outstanding academics to apply for the position of Assistant Professor in Medical History of Asia-Pacific (tenure-track). The successful candidate should have a proven track record of excellence in teaching, research, and publication.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research on the history of medicine in Asia or the Pacific. The period of specialization is open and scholars of both Asia and the Pacific are invited to apply. However, a research program taking a transnational/global history approach or linking the Asia and Pacific regions will be an advantage.
In addition to developing their own research program, the successful candidate will actively participate in curriculum development, teaching and administrative/leadership duties, at a level that aligns with the expectations of a world-class, research-intensive university. The successful candidate will conduct courses on medical history and their other areas of expertise.
