About the Post
This is an exciting opportunity for two psychology lecturers to provide learning, teaching, and assessment support to students on the University’s undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses, to be involved in the ongoing development of our portfolio, and to engage in a range of scholarly activities. The successful candidates will also supervise dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contribute to the supervision of PhD students.

About the Team
The Psychology team is situated in the subject area of Counselling, Psychology and Social Work, which is based within the newly formed School of Health Sciences and Society, bringing together a diverse but connected portfolio of programmes, including nursing, midwifery, public health, allied health professions, biomedical sciences, nutrition, and sport. The psychology team is friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced, with diverse research interests, committed to student-centred practices, and supporting our students to thrive during their time at university and beyond.

About You
- You hold a PhD or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
- You hold a Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society.
- You have experience of delivering high-quality teaching to students from diverse backgrounds.
- You have the ability to use research effectively, engage in relevant research and scholarship in the field, and ensure teaching is research-informed.
- You are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all learners and to decolonising the curriculum.
- You are open to new ideas and new ways of working, including our innovative block and blend teaching approach.
