This fundraising role is in the Campaigns and Alumni Relations department (CAR). We’re responsible for raising money and building lifelong relationships with our graduates. Within CAR, our friendly Individual Giving team works to raise gifts of up to £10,000 by mail, digital fundraising and by building personal relationships. The Individual Giving Manager will:
This role would suit someone who is experienced managing multiple projects and delivering them on time and to budget.
You’ll also be a strategic-thinker, able to plan a programme of activities that engage and solicit prospective donors. And you’ll be an engaging communicator, capable of building relationships with both donors and colleagues or external agencies who help to deliver fundraising appeals.
As this role involves working across teams and the wider University, you should be confident in taking the lead on collaborative projects and navigating differing opinions to reach consensus.
