Project Overview
We are inviting applications for a PhD position focused on the development of porous materials for key challenges in decarbonization and thermal energy storage (TES).
This project aims to design and study advanced porous solids, such as MOFs, COFs, zeolites, carbonaceous materials, etc., for:
The research contributes to low-carbon energy systems, particularly in buildings, industrial heat recovery, and solar thermal applications.
Key Research Areas
Candidate Requirements
We welcome applications from candidates with the following background:
Academic degree (BSc / MSc or equivalent) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Energy, or related fields
Hands-on experience in porous material synthesis, characterization, and gas adsorption measurements is a strong plus
Demonstrated research motivation, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in an international, interdisciplinary team
