About the Role

As our Technical Demonstrator TV Studio, your key responsibilities will be to deliver engaging demonstrations of live broadcast technologies, support practical teaching in Film, Television, and related disciplines, and ensure the smooth setup, operation, and maintenance of studio equipment.

You will provide technical guidance during live productions, collaborate with academic teams to align resources with curriculum needs, and promote interdisciplinary use of studio facilities across the University.

About You

• A suitable and appropriate qualification in a relevant technical discipline
• Significant practical experience in a commercial Television or Educational Setting
• Teaching or demonstration experience in higher education
• Relevant teaching qualification

Additional Information

Salary Grade Ac1 - Starting from 11,491 rising to 12,758 per annum, pro rata 33,951 - 37,694 per annum

The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

This is a Part Time 15hrs per week Term Time Only position.

Please Note that evening and weekend working will be required for this role. The arrangement of working hours will be agreed in advance with the line manager.
