About the role

As Scientific Knowledge Exchange Coordinator you will work across the Newton Gateway and Isaac Newton Institute to develop and expand the portfolio of activities, by initiating links between the mathematics that takes place at the Institute, at the University of Cambridge and elsewhere, and external stakeholders, including those from industry, policy makers, and in other academic disciplines. • Managing interdisciplinary projects that proactively develop new avenues for knowledge exchange across all areas of the mathematical sciences.

What you will have

The successful applicant will have a higher degree (e.g. doctorate) preferably in the mathematical sciences or cognate discipline. You will be an effective communicator who builds strong relationships across sectors and with stakeholders at all levels. You will be someone who enjoys working with people, is proactive and adaptable, and thrives on making connections to help inform decision-making.

You will also have:

  • Experience of undertaking research in academia and industry
  • Experience of communicating complex information to a diverse audience
