About the role
Teaching Assistants (TAs) will supplement academic lectures through the delivery of group teaching (for example, in seminars and workshops) and associated duties for students taking modules in the School of Management. Associated duties may include marking of coursework and exams.
The post holder will report to the leader of the module/s they are supporting, and the appointment will be available from 5th January 2026 to 30th June 2026.
Salary is £21.98 an hour, plus an additional market supplement of £12.54, bringing the hourly rate to £34.52 (please note, marking is paid at different rates depending on the type of marking and length of scripts).
This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require the right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
About you
The successful candidate will be educated to Master’s level, or possess equivalent qualifications or professional experience, in a management-related field relevant to the course modules of interest. They will have a solid knowledge of Operations and Technology, with the ability to apply this understanding in practical and educational contexts. In addition, they will have excellent working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, email, and the internet.
