Turning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician (Grade 4) within our Clinical Skills and Simulation Technical Team, supporting the College of Health and Life Sciences.
These positions will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to assist with the upkeep and preparation of specialist teaching facilities in the Clinical Skills and Simulation Laboratories. The area users comprise of two Schools: Nursing and Midwifery and Allied Health and Life Sciences.
The clinical skills and simulation labs are maintained by a dedicated team who support students and staff in use of specialist equipment. The role involves set up and take downs and movement of large equipment.
As a member of this team, you will assist the presentation and demonstration of key technologies, facilitate practical sessions, and play a key role in ensuring that the environments and technical equipment run smoothly.
We will provide you with opportunities to develop your experience, knowledge and understanding of the wide range of systems, processes, and techniques that are part of working in this environment.

The ideal candidates will have a qualification in a healthcare related discipline, be highly motivated and bring a team centred approach. Experience with AR/VR is also highly desirable.
