The Management Discipline at SBS brings together exceptional academics in the areas of organisational psychology, organisational behaviour, business analytics, operations and supply chain, and Human Resource Management. The discipline contributes to programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including the Surrey MBA, and pursues a balanced strategy across research, education and external engagement.
The Management Discipline at Surrey Business School is seeking applications for a Lecturer in the broad area of Organisational or Business Psychology. The post holder will join a world-class group of scholars and will make significant contributions to various aspects of organisational psychology research and teaching. Our expertise in organisational psychology covers a wide range of areas including leadership, psychometrics, assessment and selection, decision-making, identity, well-being at work, and cognitive neuroscience. We actively collaborate with scholars within the discipline (e.g. in the areas of organisational behaviour, HRM and business analytics) and the wider University (e.g. computer science, linguistics). All staff publish their research widely in high impact, world-leading and international journals.
All candidates should hold a doctoral degree (or close to obtaining one), demonstrate experience of published research outputs at CABS 4*/3* or equivalent levels, and experience of teaching relevant modules to a high standard of quality within a business school or psychology school context. Candidates should also ideally should demonstrate a growing research network and pipeline of research.
