Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education, Department of Mental Health and Social Work offer an exciting opportunity for an Associate Lecturer Social Care/Child Psychology, 0.6 fte - 16 months fixed term, at Middlesex University delivering the: Step Up to Social Work Programme in partnership with North London local authority partners.
We are seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer, Social Care/Child Psychology, who will be part of the ‘Step Up to Social Work’ programme, where Middlesex University is the academic teaching delivery partner with the ‘North London Step Up Regional Partnership’ led by Islington Council. This exciting post-qualifying social work programme is funded by the Department for Education and delivered by North London local authorities in partnership with the Department of Mental Health and Social Work at Middlesex University, London Campus.
The successful candidate will have a background in UK Social Work, care/or child psychology education study and practice. Applicants are required to hold academic qualifications at the Postgraduate Diploma/Master's level or above. Applicants should be able to work collaboratively and have the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and facilitation of learning within a HEI environment.
