The School of Design, based in our award-winning £76 million Stockwell Street building in the heart of Greenwich, offers state-of-the-art facilities including design studios, TV production spaces, and a 220 m² model workshop.
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join our technical team. In this role, you will work closely with the Workshop Manager to support Architecture, Graphic Design, Film & TV, and other design-related courses. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting students and academics with both traditional model-making, joinery, and fabrication techniques, as well as digital processes such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining. You will also contribute to exhibition and event installations across the University and provide expert advice on project feasibility and resource planning, ensuring a safe, creative, and collaborative learning environment.
