We are excited to invite applications for Lecturer positions in Economics, with a particular focus on Economic History, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Who We're Looking For
We are seeking enthusiastic and forward-thinking academics who bring subject expertise, creativity, and a collaborative mindset. You will:

  • Have a strong academic background in Economics, with expertise in Economic HistoryMacroeconomics, or closely related areas.
  • Hold a PhD or have relevant industry/academic experience that contributes to a cutting-edge economics portfolio that will support students into excellent graduate outcomes.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in curriculum development or pedagogical innovation, particularly in ways that engage students with historical and contemporary economic challenges.
  • Be committed to developing your external profile and contributing to the wider academic and professional community.

Successful candidates will be invited to do the following:

  • Take part in an interview with members of the department's senior leadership team.
  • Deliver a 15 min presentation (with an additional 10 min Q&A time) to members of the department on a topic of the department's choosing.
