The University now invites applications for the following position: 

Associate Professor/Assistant Professor – Department of Economics or Finance

(Ref: AssoP/AsstP (EAF) 2025-11-14)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver modules in areas such as Finance, Economics, Real Estate Development, Investment, International Finance, Financial Institutions/Markets, FinTech, and ESG;
  • Contribute actively to programme development, management, and validation;
  • Engage in high-quality research and scholarly activities; and
  • Participate in student development and administrative duties. 

Applicants should:

  • Possess a PhD in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline;
  • Have solid teaching and research experience in relevant fields;
  • Have a strong record of tertiary teaching (Bachelor’s and Master’s levels) and international exposure is preferred;
  • Have a demonstrable research output and publications;
  • Possess high level of subject knowledge and competence in the discipline; and
  • Have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
