About us
The Department of Political Economy seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Economics. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department through research and teaching in Economics. We are open in terms of research field, but we have a particular teaching need for Environmental Economics and Macroeconomics.
The Department is informed by an inclusive interdisciplinary vision and welcomes applications from candidates who share that vision. The Department values diversity and inclusion and a work-life balance.
The Department of Political Economy is a unique interdisciplinary enterprise located in the heart of London with proximity to both the world of politics and the City. Founded in 2010, it is the only dedicated Department of Political Economy in the United Kingdom.
The teaching and research recognises the interdisciplinary nature of the department. Students from diverse degrees and with different backgrounds are taught together on many modules. On research, we are hiring an economist who will fit well within an interdisciplinary environment.
The School of Politics and Economics is based in Bush House on the Strand Campus.
