Research Career Development Fellowships in the Department of Neuroscience, Physiology & Pharmacology, UCL : Expression of Interest for 2025

The Research Department of Neuroscience, Physiology & Pharmacology (NPP) at University College London (UCL) invites Expressions of Interest from early career researchers who wish to be sponsored for external fellowships to establish an independent research group via a tenure-track process.

NPP has outstanding research strength in areas that span receptor pharmacology, biophysics, circuits and systems neuroscience, cardiovascular neurophysiology, and neural computation. We are looking for candidates to address fundamental questions in neuroscience, physiology and/or pharmacology using innovative approaches and technologies and to contribute to our teaching programmes. We welcome applications relevant to any part of the department’s research agenda.

External fellowships available for sponsorship include the Wellcome Trust Career Development Award, UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship, MRC Career Development Award, CRUK Career Development Fellowship, ERC Starting Grant, Royal Society URF, Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin, and EPSRC Open Fellowship. Candidates should confirm their eligibility for specific fellowships schemes.
