Rise Mutual CIC in conjunction with Loughborough University is inviting applications for three full-time fully funded doctoral positions. The aim of these doctoral projects is to develop novel approaches to evaluating the outcomes and effectiveness of DA interventions and/or explore approaches to intervention development.
The work will draw for cases on the current programmes offered by RISE Mutual to perpetrators of domestic abuse and seek to demonstrate their effectiveness to perpetrators, victims, clients and commissioners.
The scope explores three different dimensions of domestic abuse interventions focusing on outcomes rather than outputs, the exploration being underpinned by the development and application of cybernetic reasoning.
The three dimensions envisaged are:

The studentships will be hosted in the Centre for Information Management, Loughborough University Business School in Loughborough while RISE is London based.
Two positions are available from January 2026 with the third commencing in October 2026, starting stipend is £20,780.
