The Department of Economics is looking to appoint a new Department Coordinator.
About the role
The role includes responsibilities such as providing administrative support for designated areas of work and activities within a Department, which may include the provision of administrative support to the Head of Department and senior members of staff, HR related activities, recruitment, committee work, student support, updating of web pages, reception and enquiry management.
This is a busy, varied and exciting role, which involves dealing with a wide range of matters, sometimes of a confidential nature and may include interaction with high profile internal and external visitors to the Department.
This is a role within a large, multidisciplinary team that shares best practise and works closely together and is a classic case of no two days ever being the same.
