We’re looking for an experienced, creative and collaborative communications professional to help shape and share the world-leading work of the School of Neurological and Cardiovascular Sciences, home to the Institute for Neuroscience and Cardiovascular Research. This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a new School community and identity from the very early days of our journey.
The Opportunity:
You’ll lead on developing our digital presence, from planning and managing our internal and external channels to writing compelling content, devising creative campaigns and collaborating across our School and College to amplify strategic messages. You’ll facilitate in-person and online events, build relationships and spot opportunities share great stories. Your understanding of how to connect and engage people will help us raise our profile, bring staff and students together as a community and build our reputation with researchers, partners, funders, potential collaborators, future staff and students and other key groups.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in complex, collaborative environments and is comfortable working with colleagues at all levels of seniority in a changing and developing organisation. You’ll be in your element when working across a variety of projects and activities, both large and small. With a proven track record of strategic communications, digital media and stakeholder engagement, you’ll bring creativity, a solution-focused mindset and people skills to everything you do.
What you'll do:
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is Grade UE07: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum .
