ABOUT POSITION
Faculty of Health Sciences – Precision Medicine is a full-time research focuses position at College of Health Sciences and will have the opportunity to work in affiliation with research centers within Innovation in Health Sciences Research cluster.
The research focus is on AI-assisted approaches to wellness and disease prevention, advancing early detection and innovative therapies to improve outcomes in aging, cancer, cardiovascular and infectious diseases, immunology, nutrition, environmental health, and rare genetic disorders.
Successful candidates are expected to possess a strong academic background or research experience in one or more relevant disciplines, including ‘omics, epigenetics, big data, computational biology, bioinformatics, and biomedical engineering.

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) pioneers research in immunology, regenerative medicine, precision medicine, population health, systems science, and health technology. Through its partnership with Vinmec, Vietnam’s premier private healthcare system, CHS integrates education, research, and clinical practice via joint research centers and access to real-world clinical data.

ABOUT INNOVATION IN HEALTH SCIENCES RESEARCH CLUSTER
The Innovation in Health Sciences cluster at VinUniversity unites six research centers, advancing stem cell and regenerative medicine, smart health solutions, immunology, and 3D technologies. By integrating biomedical sciences, data-driven health technologies, and population research—and leveraging Vinmec Healthcare’s clinical and data resources—the cluster drives innovations across cancer, aging, mental and environmental health, nutrition, and antimicrobial resistance, translating discoveries into improved health outcomes in Vietnam and globally.

Postdoctoral or equivalent experience is preferable. Demonstrated potential for high-quality, independent research, and effective teaching. International research engagement is an advantage.
Extensive teaching experience with recognized excellence; sustained record of publications and leadership in the discipline; success in securing research funding as Principal Investigator for at least five years; and active participation in professional societies.
Internationally recognized academic and research leadership; substantial, sustained record of high-impact, funded research for ten years or more; keynote presentations, awards, or honors for research excellence; and distinguished teaching and mentorship experience.
