About the role:
We are pleased to offer this excellent opportunity to join our ambitious and encouraging team in the School of Global Affairs, as a Senior Research Operations Officer, providing full post-award support to our School’s research grants. The post holder will provide high-quality and comprehensive administrative, budgetary, and research project support to the School of Global Affairs. The appointee will work closely with academics and researchers to support the day-to-day administration of awards, funded by the European Commission, UKRI, and UK based charities. As a busy and successful research team, the role would be suited to someone who can manage multiple competing priorities, has good attention to detail, and can build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including colleagues in Finance, Human Resources, and the Research Management & Innovation Directorate (RMID). The post holder will be able to work as part of King’s hybrid working model, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office (Strand Campus). This is a full time post for three years and you will be offered a fixed term contract.
