We are a world class research-intensive university. We deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality. We play a leading role in economic, social and cultural development of the North East of England. Attracting and retaining high-calibre people is fundamental to our continued success.
The Role
In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing and student recruitment strategies to attract high-quality home and international undergraduate and postgraduate taught students.
You'll work closely with academic schools and central services to ensure alignment with both University-wide and School-specific priorities. You'll also manage a small, dynamic team, delivering a consistent and effective approach to student recruitment marketing.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HaSS) is an exciting, multidisciplinary faculty structured around ten academic schools. The Faculty has a significant and diverse student population across its range of disciplinary areas.
You will be required to maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in relation to the recruitment of humanities, arts and social sciences students and remain up to date with the latest marketing and communications developments, including the use of new technologies and best practice elsewhere in the sector.
Significant experience in student recruitment marketing, preferably within a higher education setting, and a proven ability to develop and deliver marketing strategies and campaigns is essential for this role. Please refer to the Job Description for all essential criteria.
