About the Role
The Department wishes to recruit a Sighted and Mobility Support Assistant. The post holder will support an academic member of staff with lecture and seminar teaching, and module administration for Non-Profit and Voluntary Sector Management and Policy, and Leadership and Organisational Behaviour. They will also assist the staff member with Departmental administration, and liaising with students. Finally, they will assist the academic staff member with their role in Vice Dean role in the Faculty.
This is a fixed term position until 31st March 2026.

About You
The post holder will have excellent IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office (such as Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, Teams), Zoom, Moodle, Turnitin database packages, web browsers and email packages, with a willingness to learn about and use new software. The post holder will have excellent administrative, verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to empathise with people. Previous with experience in providing mobility & sighted support, audio recording and working or studying in a higher education institution is desirable.
