Hourly Paid Teaching in Forensic Science / Forensic Investigation
University of Winchester | Term 2 (January 2026 Start)
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Associate Lecturers to join our Forensics team at the University of Winchester. The successful candidate(s) will contribute to teaching on our BSc (Hons) Forensic Investigation and BSc (Hons) Forensic Science programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach within a supportive and engaging academic environment, working with motivated students across a range of forensic science modules.
Essential experience
✔ Strong background in one or more of the following: analytical and biochemical methods, DNA evidence, forensic investigation, geoforensics, or forensic archaeology
✔ Experience or confidence teaching at undergraduate level
✔ Ability to deliver evidence-informed, applied content in an engaging, student-centred manner
Desired
✔ Experience of taking on module leadership responsibilities
✔ Experience of designing and developing your own teaching materials
✔ A postgraduate qualification or above in a relevant subject
Start date: January 2026 (Term 2)
Contract: Associate Lecturer (hourly paid)
Rate: £45.25 per hour plus holiday pay
